Below are a few designs based on the subjects that inspired Andy Warhol during his most prolific period. Beautiful actresses and famous consumer brands. A winning formula.

Liz Taylor 1963

Marilyn Monroe 1967

Campbell’s Tomato Soup 1962

Lots of Cans of Soup 1962

Coca Cola 3 1962

I recently saw the Andy Warhol Diaries documentary and it inspired me to take a closer look at some of his iconic imagery. My interpretations attempt to combine geometry, abstract colour balance and texture to create a harmonious aesthetic. But that’s just a long winded way of describing what are essentially just fun doodles.

Thanks for taking the time to check them out!
